Come take a swing with us! We offer a trapeze experience for children. Totally fun and a great experience. Bring your child down Thursday  – Sunday, 12:00pm – 8:00pm and we’ll give your child and introductory lesson and let them take a swing for just $14.75. Ages 6 -12. Make a day of it by riding the Ducks or visiting the Aquarium afterward!

What are Flying Trapeze lessons all about?
We have all been in a darkened circus audience, holding our breath, watching those flashy fliers sail through the air wondering if they would make it to the other side. In the sparkle of those evenings, we imagined ourselves with the wind rushing past our faces, grasping the bar, hearing the cheer of the crowd. It is this memory and thrill that The Cincinnati Circus Company now makes available to you!

Who can do the Flying Trapeze?
Almost anybody! Flying trapeze is great exercise, builds self confidence, and fun! The rest of your life you’ll get to say you are a flying trapeze artist. When the Ringling Brothers or Shrine circus comes to town you can say, “Yeah, I can do that.” More than just bragging rights it’s a chance to conquer fear, a chance to cheer each other on and we’ll make you look great in the pictures! You’ll fall in love with the experience … we all did! It will also make the best bachelor or bachelorette party, team building event, birthday party or date you ever have. Where do I go for Flying Trapeze lessons?
The Cincinnati Circus Company is offering flying trapeze classes at Newport on the Levee. We are located next to Brio’s (yum), Ride the Ducks (quack), and across from the South Gate house. GPS: 24 east 3rd St. Newport, Kentucky 41071.

What do I need to know for my first Flying Trapeze Class?
Nothing! Come early because we have some paper work. Bring a driver’s license or valid id. If you like come early enough to do some stretches, or watch some flying trapeze videos on YouTube, but the honest answer is just come out with an adventurous spirit and we’ll take care of the rest.

Gymnastic Classes, Aerial Classes, Circus Classes
Gymnastic and Aerial classes are available by appointment during any of the hours of Flying Trapeze operation. Just ask us about it when you call!

How old do I have to be?
Cincinnati Circus Company wants everyone to enjoy flying trapeze, but more importantly we want everyone to enjoy it safely. All flying trapeze participants must be between the ages of 5 and 100. They should be in reasonable physical condition and able to hold their body weight while hanging from the bar… pretty simple. We will attach safety lines to you and put you over a net… just in case.

What should I wear?
Flying trapeze is physical, please wear stretchable comfortable clothing. Shorts, t-shirts are fine; please remember you may be flipping upside down.

What else do you offer?
In addition to Flying Trapeze classes we also offer kid’s circus classes.

Drinking, Medical Conditions, and Medication:
Any, drug, drink, or medication that affects a person’s physical or mental abilities is strictly forbidden. All persons under the influence of a drug, drink, or medication must disclose it prior to being admitted in to the flying trapeze area of operation.

How are the Amazing Portable Circus and the Cincinnati Circus Company affiliated?
The Amazing Portable Circus and the Cincinnati Circus Company share talent. Some of your charming instructors are also professional entertainers of the Amazing Portable Circus. Feel free to ask for information about booking them for Casino Nights, Game Shows, Festivals or School Shows.

Refund Policy
Classes must be cancelled prior to 72 hours before the start of the class for a full refund to apply. Under 72 hour notice will result in a ½ refund or a reschedule at no extra charge within two weeks. Classes that are missed without notice for whatever reason will be cost the full amount and no reschedule is possible. For your convenience and ours, please communicate clearly with us. Rain/Weather Policy
All classes cancelled due to weather will be offered a reschedule within two weeks of the original class at no extra charge. If the class cannot be rescheduled a 50% refund will be offered. Classes that have already begun cannot be rescheduled, but a 50% discount will be offered on a future class within two weeks.

Refusal to fly Policy
Any instructor, employee, or representative of Cincinnati Circus Company can refuse any student at any time for safety reasons… these include but are not limited to: the use of alcohol, drugs, medications, the inability of the person or environment to operate safely, the demeanor or disposition of the person, or their adherence to company policies for safety. All persons refused flight training, or further flight training will be immediately asked to leave and a refund of 50% will be given.
